Laura Nowlan opened See Us Now Staffing in October 2014. “I got tired of working for others. I felt I could continue working 24/7 for other people and end up with the same result over and over again, or I could take a leap of faith and use everything I learned and start my own staffing company.”

When asked what she believes sets See Us Now Staffing apart, Laura explains “I believe our tagline says it all ‘Many are called, but few are chosen.’ We interview everyone, but we don’t hire everyone. We hire team members, not employees. We believe in creating a team of professionals that create true partnerships with our clients. Sometimes this means letting our team members and or clients go. In order to have a winning team, it has to be a win-win for everyone!”

Their philosophy is definitely working. See Us Now Staffing placed 422 people to work in 2015 and is planning to place almost 1700 more by the end of 2017.

For small business owners, Laura has a bit of advice. “Education is power! Don’t ever stop learning. Hire the right team of professionals. You will never be the expert in everything, so find experts that will help you. The Nevada Women’s Business Center is a great resource center to get business advice. Get involved in the community and serve and your community will embrace you and help you succeed. You are only as good as your team.”
